Supra to Celebrate Georgian Wine

We all love wine for its complexity. It's impossible to contemplate what's inside the bottle without contemplating the land that it came from. And not just the terroir, but the people, the culture and the rituals surrounding it.

Georgia is the cradle of wine, and its customary way of enjoying wine is around the Supra table. At the Supra, wine is not an end in itself, but the key that unlocks the poetry of the heart. Over the course of the feast, the Tamada (toastmaster) guides a series of toasts to the things that make us human. Everyone is invited to add their own toasts, and by the end of the night, a profound sense of serenity and unity settles over the table.
